PVCu U-Profile

The PVCu U profile end closure is push fitted over the cut ends of multiwall sheet after it has been blown out and taped up. If left exposed, the tape that is applied to the open fluted ends of the sheet will become wet and then deteriorate. The tape will then fail and the flutes of the sheet will have condensation, algae build-up and insect penetration. Fitting end closures will help to prevent this.

They are typically fitted to the gutter-end of a pitched roof or to both ends of a free-standing roof, providing protection and rigidity to the vulnerable ends of your polycarbonate glazing.

The PVCu U profile features a drip channel which helps any water ingress evaporate without affecting the polycarbonate sheet.

These PVCu U profiles are available for 10mm, 16mm and 25mm glazing in white and brown in 2.1m lengths.
