The PVCu F profile (also known as an F section) can be used at the start and finish of a lean-to rafter system roof, rather than using a glazing bar fitted with a side trim. It will provide a water-tight, draught proof seal to the edges of your roof.
The glazing material is fitted into the jaws of the PVCu F profile, leaving a suitable gap for expansion.
The stalk of the PVCu F profile is usually placed pointing down, but it may be upturned to enable fixing directly against a wall. When used in this way it should be flashed over to create a watertight join.
This profile may also useful when fixing multiwall polycarbonate as secondary overhead glazing.
The PVCu F profiles are available for use with 10mm, 16mm and 25mm glazing in white and brown.
